Disposition:


• Prideful: At her core, Beatrix is a very prideful individual. She's always yearning to obtain glory and because of this, she tends to value success and achievements above all else. All of this stems from her unfortunate background. When she was young, her noble family lost their status and in turn, causing her to be endlessly ridiculed. This is the catalyst for her proud nature, she wants nothing more than to show off to the people who made fun of her and prove to the world that she is strong. Her constant desire for success does cause her to land in quite a bit of trouble. Stubborn and extremely competitive to a fault, she will go as far as to risk her own life at the expense of showing off her abilities. Beatrix works with a "Act first, think later" type of mindset. It's very common for her to rush into danger all alone in order to prove herself to her associates. But even with her one-track mind, she somehow manages to complete her missions much to the bewilderment of her friends. Although she means well, strategy is absolutely not her forte and all of her actions are based on emotion rather than logic.



• Persistence: Because of her tenacity, Beatrix never lets failure get the better of her. At first, she will complain and sulk but no matter how much she's humiliated, she is very good at looking past her losses and uses it in order to strengthen herself. She rarely ever lets anything get her down and one of the first traits one would notice about her is how cheerful she is. She has a tendency to get easily excitable, especially if it involves showing off. There are times she can be arrogant, especially if it's something that she knows she's talented at. She can be a bit pushy about showing off her abilities and can come across as being quite obnoxious but overall, she has good intentions. If someone tells her that she needs to improve on a certain aspect, she'll get annoyed at first but her competitive streak compels her to better herself in order to prove any naysayer wrong.



• Kind: Despite her shortcomings, she is kindhearted. Should there be someone in trouble, Beatrix won't hesitate to help them. Doing good deeds is something she genuinely enjoys and she takes pride in being able to support others. She'll even go as far as to help someone out, even if there's a possibility they could be an enemy. The last thing she wants is to leave anyone who is suffering and will do her best to save everyone that she can. Her loyalty to her friends is unwavering and she will go out of her way for them. Although she's arrogant, she doesn't take all the glory for herself and rightfully gives credit where it's due. She's gone on to say that if it wasn't for her friends, she wouldn't have grown as a person and attributes all of her various deeds to her sword, Embrasque.



• Simple-minded: Due to her foolhardy nature and the way she overreacts, she's become an easy target for bullying among her friends. Unfortunately for her, she hates being made the butt of a joke and will endlessly whine and pout in retaliation. Of course, Beatrix isn't really the smartest person and can be quite gullible. It doesn't take much for her to believe a joke. When it comes to romantic interactions, she's also shown to get quite embarrassed and easily flustered, as implied by some of the dialogue she has with the player character during certain holidays. Much to her dismay, it hasn't occurred to her that she's easy to tease.



Under pressure: As stated by one of her associates in canon, Beatrix's unfaltering will is both her weakness and one of her greatest strengths. As such, she does tend to panic easily but at the same time, her strength is at it's peak when she's under pressure. While the anticipation of a new place to explore will be somewhat exciting to her, she's even more-so concerned about her friends back home, along with her sword in it's current state. In the back of her mind, she's going to feel guilty about being stuck in an unknown land without a way to fix Embrasque. This won't change how she interacts with others, she'll still act friendly and cheerful. If anything, she'll seek out more connections in order to get her mind off of her worries back home. The prospect of Manna is going to be a little embarrassing to her, as she gets easily flustered at intimacy. There will be a little bit of reluctance from her at first but once she gets settled in and realizes that it's a necessity, she'll become more open to the process. If she sees that someone is in desperate need of Manna, she's going to do whatever she can to help, her good-nature will not allow herself to leave someone in critical condition. Setting aside her embarrassment surrounding intimacy, Beatrix enjoys meeting new people. The idea of making new friends and forming bonds is something she has zero problems with.

Condition upon arrival: Perfectly healthy! One thing that might be noteworthy is that Beatrix's sword, Embrasque is currently broken and unsuable.

Abilities:

Beatrix is talented at sword wielding. It's been said that solo fights are her specialty and that she thrives under adversity. All of her movesets reflect this in which she fights with an enmity style, the more she gets hurt, the stronger she becomes. Not only do her attacks get stronger under pressure but she's also capable of dodging and dealing a barrage of attacks when she's low on health. Her default element is dark but she also fights with fire and earth magic. In battle, she's also capable of dealing debuffs that weaken an opponent's elemental attack, depending on what element she's in. Embrasque also changes it's appearance to match whatever outfit she's wearing.

With the current state Embrasque is in, she will be nerfed down to her Earth SR's moveset. For game purposes, this means that she will only be able to use earth magic and her overall attacking power will be weakened. Her most noteworthy skill in this state is being able to provide an ally with a buff that increases their attacking power.

Aside from her combat abilities, she is also quite skilled at cooking. However, much to the amazement of everyone and herself anything she cooks always ends up tasting like desserts.
